On July 16, 2019, Richard Blakeney, creator of the major checklist of Thai revenue stamps, passed away from pancreatic cancer. His revenue handbook started 30 years ago as a personal guide and expanded over the years with contributions from other collectors. I have now taken on the editorship to update the revenue handbook to a new revision.

Richard wrote 8 additional books on aspects of Thai philately. His handbooks will continue to benefit collectors for years to come.
